REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE FOR EEA NATIONALS

An EEA national shall have the right of residence exceeding ninety days within a one hundred and eighty day period if he/she:
plans to pursue gainful employment or,
has sufficient resources for him/herself and his/her family members to not to become an unreasonable burden on the social security system of Hungary during the period of their stay, and have comprehensive sickness insurance cover for healthcare services as prescribed in specific other legislation, or if he/she assures to have sufficient resources for such services as required by statutory provisions; or
who has been admitted to an educational establishment for the purpose of pursuing his / her studies and has sufficient resources throughout his / her stay and is entitled to health insurance services.

EEA citizen: a citizen of a Member State of the European Union other than a Hungarian citizen and a state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (citizens of the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein).

a jobseeker with a document proving that he / she is looking for a job and that it is probable that he / she will start working,
proof of existing student status,
proof of the availability of adequate financial resources,
a business health insurance policy entitling you to full healthcare (our office can help you obtaining it)
Proof of address or accommodation in Hungary,

Upon the issuance of the registration certificate for EEA nationals, the client will also receive his / her address card by post without any further action.

The registration certificate - with a valid travel document or identity card - is valid for an indefinite period of time.

FEES AND COSTS

Our office undertakes to obtain a residence permit for the purpose of employment for our clients as a complete service.

Full management of the registration certificate of EEA nationals: EUR 250.

This price includes the fee for the necessary amount of personal consultations, which is essential to describe the process and the documents to be obtained, the preparation of the application and all its annexes, and the personal and legal representation throughout the application process.

EXPECTED COSTS:

The procedure is subject to a fee, the amount of which is HUF 18,000

Expected translation cost: 30,000 HUF (this amount may vary depending on the amount of documents required).

Cost of passport photo: 500 HUF

Cost of title deed: 1500 HUF

In most cases, there are no costs in addition to the above, so you don’t have to expect any notary or other costs!
