An EC permanent residence permit may be issued to a third-country national (Conditions):

  • who has a place of abode in the territory of Hungary and whose subsistence is ensured;
  • who has comprehensive healthcare insurance or sufficient financial resources for healthcare services;
  • who lawfully resided in the territory of Hungary continuously for at least the preceding five years before the application was submitted; or
  • who was issued an EU Blue Card, and
  • who has lawfully resided in the territory of Hungary continuously for at least the preceding two years before the application was submitted; and
  • who has lawfully resided in the territory of any Member State of the European Union continuously for at least five years.

WHERE CAN I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?SHALL IS SUBMIT IT IN PERSON?

The application for EC permanent residence permit is to be submitted at the branch of the regional directorate of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing responsible for the place where the applicant’s future Hungarian residence is located.

FEES AND COSTS

Our office undertakes to obtain EC Residence Permit for our clients as a complete service.

Full management of obtaining the EC Residence Permit: EUR 600.

This price includes the fee for the necessary amount of personal consultations, which is essential to describe the process and the documents to be obtained, the preparation of the application and all its annexes, and the personal and legal representation throughout the application process.

EXPECTED COSTS:

The procedure is subject to a fee, the amount of which is HUF 18,000

Expected translation cost: 30,000 HUF (this amount may vary depending on the amount of documents required).

Cost of passport photo: 500 HUF

Cost of title deed: 1500 HUF

In most cases, there are no costs in addition to the above, so you don’t have to expect any notary or other costs!
